Ureshii no WEEKEND

azuriteEh, that's probably nowhere near accurate Japanese, but I'm not too much in the mood for caring at this point, so phhhhbt! ^_^ Lessee, Friday was fun (for the most part) because everyone was there, people were looking forward to the long weekend, and it was a real Bemani night. The fact that it was Valentine's Day barely crossed my mind, despite the fact that I dressed up all cute (to freak people out-- and it worked; 'Niichan was like "NOOO!"). Since I managed to convince my mom to give me that $35 check, I had cash for the evening, though I only spent a dollar worth in tokens at RTA-- thankfully no one watched me play MAX2, because I wasted the tokens by not passing my final stage-- when by all rights, I should have. Stupid heels. I seriously need those Converse before the next Bemani Night.
Well, Niichan did this weird co-endorsing thing with my mom's check (eek, if she gets it back, then won't she know that I couldn't deposit it myself? And now I don't have the cash to go to the bank -not that it's open today, anyway- and figure out why my account is closed!! AUGH! Or maybe 'Niichan's right and my card just got magnetized somehow...?) I went to the Metreon with Joe G. after everyone else split their separate ways; we saw Daredevil, WHICH KICKED ASS. Even cooler, Amber saw it too (when she was in AZ) so we were talking about all the "hott" Jennifer G. moments. Mm, the movie just screams sequel... but what's up with W. Fisk aka Kingpin in the DD world? Isn't he originally from Spiderman? *confused look* What do I know?
OH YEAH! *happy happy grin* This Valentine's Day kicked ass, and that's probably the last time you'll hear me say it. Why? Simple-- at the end of BN, Fred (who just walked in, haha) gave me a rose. It's not so much the whole V-day ideal of gettitng flowers and chocolate-- I wasn't angsting so much at school when everyone was getting red and blue roses from their friends, teachers, and everyone else inbetween. But it was nice that Fred was nice enough to think of everyone-- I mean, he went out and bought a bouquet of these nice peach (which I think symbolize 'friendship' how perfect) roses to give to his friends. I got two, and I'm damn happy. I took good care of them, even in the movie theater, and they're in a nice vase on the dining room table at home. ^_^
Keee... Gene's party was Saturday evening, and since I'd originally planned to stay till 8:30ish and meet Amber (newly-arrived from AZ that morning) and Will's mom as Will got out of the Chinese New Year parade, I wore my cute black-and-tan Chinese-character 'fit. Of course, it had to start raining not long after I got to Gene's, and without an umbrella, I was stuck there. We (Gene, me, and these guys named Mark, Ian, and... uhm... someone else... >_>) watched these hilarious clips from the Conan O'Brien show, "Triumph the Insult Comic Dog." *giggles* Those were great.
I got KINDA TIPSY (YOU HEAR ME!? NOT DRUNK! I'm melodramatic, okay!?) from the two Smirnoff Ices I had (yumm~) and I had about two slices of pizza (hot! hot! stupid sausage). Yeah, but then I was calling Will, and Amber, and our wires got crossed. Will ended up getting out of the parade earlier than expected, and he and Amber were at the Met. I was going to leave, but Gene wouldn't let me, saying that it wouldn't be good for me to go out in the rain "like I was." *scoff* I could walk in a straight line-- it was keeping a straight face that was hard. Yeesh, people take that so seriously... *rolls eyes*
Mm, anyway, I finally was picked up by Amber and Will by Amber's mom at the Metreon; a friend of Gene's, Belinda, had walked me as far as Stockton and Sutter. They dropped us off at my house (my mom wasn't too happy about having people over, since she was just recovering from being sick, but I'd told her about it days in advance and didn't really give her the opportunity to argue. Nyah.) and I made ravioli for dinner. Hehe, we mostly played Star Ocean and watched "The Neverending Story" (Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, Oh oh oh) all night. ^_^ Yesh, it was super-fun being with everyone again... no one was MOPING or MISSING.
We left yesterday afternoon and went to J-town (Amber's mom picked us up and came with us) to get the Initial D DVDs (I had to lend Will $15, that's why I can't deposit any money into my bank account... >_>) which KICK ASS and the Star Ocean 2 manga #4, with Ashton on the front. WHEE, only two more to go! YATTA! Dias~~~ *dr00lage* We also got crepes, my usual-- Strawberry and Banana with Whip Creme. It tasted better than normal, but I'm tempted to try and make one of my own with Nutella or bean paste or Gelato or something.
We went to Will's house to watch the DVDs, and we went to KFC for dinner (YUM!... but the cobblers are NASTY, regardless of what Amber's cat thinks of them) and snacked on delish chicken -I thought it was weird how I was full after only one biscuit and two chicken pieces. Hmm. @_@ Then Amber's mom came over, and we gained permission to stay at Amber's for the night-- Amber's mom was nice enough to treat us to 7-11 goodies; everyone else got Slurpees, I got a Strawberry Shortcake bar.
Mm, I'm leaving out a lot of details, and keeping Fred, Will, and Amber waiting. I'll add more later... and figure out what's wrong with my damn forums, download all the Freebies I got yesterday that clogged my inbox, and put the new version of Skin Deep up. @_@ Waugh... and there's still English homework and chores to do!! ;_;
