Whoa, whoa, whoa, Mero-chan. Not to mean to spoil or anything but, what do you mean YGO's over? Does it mean that the show completed its finale?

And what about Takahashi Rumiko's Ranma 1/2 work?

Volume 38 of the YGO manga is the last volume; before I typed this post, I read the last act in the volume, and, well, the series ends. The anime still has a ways to go, but... I adored the manga. And Ranma was 38 volumes too, done by another Takahashi mangaka, and had an ending that wasn't as "complete" as we'd like. Mangaka these days seem to like doing that-- a lot.

Ah, yes. Indeed the manga for YGO's finally ended. I knew the Oracles would be the final arc in the series.

There're lots of unfinished stories in the anime/manga world nowadays for a lot of reasons. One of 'em and probably the most common is financial. I've recently finished GTO and I'm really looking forward to read the manga version cuz' the anime version pissed me off. There were lots of flaws in the anime even though there're lots of funny scenes on it.

Over?! Over?! No, it can't be! *cries* I had one little tiny itty bitty shred of hope that something would happen (other than Duel Monsters: meaning romantic) and now that hope is gone! Woe is the Seto/Tea fandom! And woe is the Yami/Tea fandom!

Unsorrowful sidenote: Is it true that Yami never even gets his own body? Some of us aren't fortunate enough to get the manga. *points to self*

Yeah, it's true. If you want to read semi-english Translations of the manga, go to Janime.net and check out the manga summaries. Yugi and Yami finally duel each other, and despite the huge differences in decks, Yugi kicks Yami's ass... and Yami goes back to the Afterlife (where he belongs), where his father, Shimon Muran, and the other 6 priests are waiting for him. le sigh...

The manga ends with a shot of all the main players (Yugi, Jounouchi, Anzu, Seto, Honda, Otogi, etc.) and Yugi is out on the roof overlooking the stars-- and he says, "Our story is just beginning." CLICHE! But so sad... I totally cried. I'm such a baby.

Yes... Tis a sad thing... But don't hate Kazuki! They're doing everything they can to prolong it's end in the Anime! Like... Orichalos never happened in the Manga, and neither did Grand Prix or the Noa-Arc... So it's gonna' be okay! The Anime may never end...... But it is very sad, I know... T_T

Grand Prix wa vroom vroom

I know the Grand Prix arc is coming to a close (though I wish they would have kept Seto in that nice suit of his. So much sexshier than his Battle City get-up) ... and they have to continue it somehow, and touch on the Egypt arc, as the made mention of it during Battle City... Yu-Gi-Oh makes too much money for it to just suddenly stop production. Still, I wonder-- by May, there should be a new season, if not sooner...
