C'est la Vie! Sailor V...?

Okay, so I watched up to Act 4 today of Sailor Moon... I'm left baffled by some of the changes they've made to PGSM. I'm totally in love with Mamoru all over again though-- but we don't know his name yet! Speaking of which, when did Usagi in the animated series ever find out Mamoru's name? And did she ever call him Mamoru-baka? I think that's a fanon nickname, really.

Patrick was right-- the way Sailor V runs is laughable. Why does she run like she's strapped to a hangglider, with her arms flailing behind her? She reminds me of a Southwest Airlines jet.

And with Act 4...
(1) Nephrite is not Nephrite without long hair. Admittedly, his actor is hot, but...

(2) Mercury continually calls Sailor Moon "Tsukino-san" and Sailor Moon herself is guilty of calling Mercury and Mars "Ami-chan" and "Rei-chan." I'm sorry, but HELLO!! Tuxedo Mask, RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!!!!

(3) Why would Sailor V run from Luna? Heck, how the hell did Luna *find* Sailor V???

(4) Act 4 was not the same without Usagi getting drunk. :P

Uhm... today. I couldn't switch shifts with anyone for work, so I guess I'll be going anyway. 12:30-8 box shift, and I went to bed early so I could do some early J-town shopping. I *did* get off work early yesterday, but my paycheck didn't go through... and there's no guarantee I'll be let off early today. I bet they'll be short staffing us again, and I'll be alone in Box until 6pm. -.- Joy.

As for Anime FX... well, the way I figure it, I have off tomorrow, so I might as well just go to the Encore performance instead of tonight's. Besides, assuming I get off at 8pm, it would be a good hour before I could make it to SFSU, and...? What, I'd end up spending money on dinner or something. And no one plays Yu-Gi-Oh anymore, so there's no point to that... bleh bleh... I'll go tomorrow.

I doubt Joe's reading this, but if he wants his freakin' present, he'll find a way to show up tomorrow, cuz I don't think I'll be showing up tonight.

Gaah, so much for leaving early. Damn.. everything is a distraction, and even though I woke up so early, I *still* didn't finish WDKY9! I'm glad I have off tomorrow! :D

So I'm going to make a page of the pros and cons of Pierce and CCSF. I don't really *want* to make such a monumentous decision now, but it's one of those "now or never" things that'll bite you in the ass later.

I'm trying to relax in spite of all that, though. Gotta get a million things done... Hey, so no one ever did beat me at selling gold hearts at work. I sold 41 (according to their records; I know I sold more) and got a paid day off! Whoo-hoo, $68!

I have to say, i really enjoy writing in the book, but i feel like im learning everything about everyone's lives so late- like after it happens? you know what im saying? Theres a particular angry rant of mine in there so watch out- i was living in my "emotions" at the time- glad to hear about your paid day off, thats wonderful. when is it? well hope all is well- ttyl

Eh, well until we find a way to mentally zap presents to one another, we must rely upon the services of the USPS. *sigh* Sad. Yeah, and we do find out about things a bit late, but... better than never at all, eh? I have no other way of keeping in contact with everyone in the book circle ('sides you, since you're still in SF!) anyhow-- no one ever talks to me online!

I know not to send the book to Roro. Sad that she's "too busy" to participate, but ah well, nothing to be done.
