azuriteO_O;; Okay, so that didn't go as planned. I ended up staying up till 3 am (or later?? I can't remember, I did the dishes. You know the soap eats your brain) instead of going to bed early like I planned to, so that I could wake up early today and go to CCSF and McAteer (or is it MacAteer? Have I been spelling it wrong all this time?), but noo... I decided I'll do it tomorrow. Or maybe with some dumb luck they'll let me off work early, but I doubt that very much. 'Early' would have to be before 3. >_<
So tomorrow morning I'll go to those places before work (at noon) and pick up my transcripts. I suppose I *can* save time by not getting the CCSF one; that one *would* take longer to get, and I *can* print an unofficial one from the 'Net. So USC doesn't necessarily want unofficial ones all the time, they *did* say it's ok. They want the high school to send the HS transcript, but for college, it has to be attached to the application-- meaning *I* have to have it. Even rush, it's 4-5 days wait. Stupid CCSF, it shouldn't take that long to print something up. It takes the SFUSD only a few minutes, and I'm sure they have WAAAAY more students. I think.
Hey, guess what? I'm getting so many random reviews for my "dead fics" that I'm tempted to work on them. I can't even remember what some of the fics I've written are about, so getting a review for them is really a kick to the system. I'm pretty sure "Paradox" is my Full Moon o Sagashite fic (stupid FFnet still doesn't have a category for it, even though I'm sure there's plenty fics for it in the Anime/Misc. section), while everyone knows I did a sad knock-off of the RTA days of last, last summer (GAWD, it's been two years!?) with "Goodbye, Hello, Who Are You?" o_O I actually got a review for that. I am like, shocked. O_O
Well, so there's fics like that... and WDKY8. It's long. REAAAALLY long. Someone told me that Part 7B took them 2 hours, 40 minutes, and 2 seconds to read, and for a single chapter, that's REALLY LONG. People can be slow, of course, but... I dunno, maybe I should time myself the next time I read some sort of epic fic. ^^; I still have a few more scenes to add, and they're a pain in the neck, as my writing out-of-order causes me to have to go back and cross reference everything. :P But I have to get it done soon, because...
BEA IS UP!!! At least, I think it's up. I still have to wait for Mamono to give me the final approval. I really need codes for it (you know, link graphics), since I don't have time to make so many by myself. I have to come up with a better reward than "member slots," though, especially since I can't guarantee order when I start advertising it.
Okay, so someone DID snag the Seto/Anzu FL on TheFanlistings.org before I can, and by Feb. 20, I'll have to see how they do. That's how long they have before it has to be up. I'm half-hoping they don't figure it out, or they chicken out... I spent so much time stressing over BEA... and you know what? BEA isn't even my title, apparently. I found another "shrine" devoted to Seto/Anzu, but it was down. :P I based it off an image Mamono gave to me, and since Mamono's artwork is the driving force behind BEA in the first place, that's why I named it that. I can't come up with anything better... :P I'm not that great at brainstorming titles, really. If worse comes to worse, maybe I can change BEA's "category" to Seto/Anzu fanfiction, or I can hook up with their TFL-approved listing some other way. *shrugs* Who knows. I think it's somewhat lame there can't be two FLs from TFL.org, but... *sigh* Whatever, they make their own rules.
I work an 8 hour shift in box today, which is just insane and ridiculous. And FOOK, it's already 4 to (when I have to leave) and I don't have a lunch made! >_> I do have some cash, but I need $13 for tomorrow. Lemme count this... Okay, if I blow $10 on a CCSF transcript tomorrow, and $3 for the SFUSD one, I have $4 for lunch. That's pretty decent.
Things to do when I get home (remind me, okay?) :
* Finish up all those personal statement papers ;_;
* Work on WDKY8!
* Sort the Project: Blue Apricot fics, and tidy up the Features/P:BA page on BEA
* PLAY X-2!!!!!!!!!!!!!
* Attempt to clean up the assortment of Tea artwork I have stashed away in My Pictures folder, add some of it to the WDKY pages, and maybe make some BEA buttons/banners/etc. while I'm at it.
