Or not. Maybe join.php really is a mess. Like my room, only... harder to understand. I finally got it working, but now I'm being stopped up by a parse error (of all things) on some line between 369 and 371. It has something to do with the } else { tag, and I can't, for the life of me, figure out what's wrong. I've tried playing with the ending ?> tags, tried double-checking to see all the { had their } but nooo... PARSE ERROR! ;_; I even copied the original join.php code for that area, but it's not helping. It looks like there's a lot of useless closing tags, and closing tags with no opening tags, but then, Sasha says she tested out the code on other domains, and it worked fine...

*worry worry* Plus TheFanlistings.org is revving up their engines for the latest updates, and I want the FL to be up, ready, and such before they get to my request. That is, assuming I sent in the request properly. Which I think I did... X_X I hope I did.

I'm going to keep trying, though.

In other PHPnews, I'm going to try and mooch off FFnet and figure out how the heck they have a review script. I'm sure there's someplace where I can figure out the PHP required for that, and then I can have people review my fics at my site! Like a guestbook, only better! ^_^ More organized and the like. *dreams*

Okay, work. Let's see... I had yesterday off, so I got my hair and nails done. For a model-testing thing at this uber-elite salon, the trainee Tomika did a DAMNED good job. I love my new haircut... ^_^ Her instructors, on the other hand, were sort of violent, and pushed my head around like I was some sort of doll. And one of 'em even stabbed me in the neck with the scissors! *wince* Geez...

I went to MickeyD's (such a long time... they jacked up their prices so much!) and had myself a chicken mgnugget meal to go. Of course, I had to catch the one Muni bus where the bus driver was a snot, and told me to leave my brand new soda behind. I said forget it, and waited 5 minutes for the next bus. :P Jerk. I always clean up after myself ANYWAY. Went to City Nails, and... well, frankly, I'd rather go there with friends. I did get a better manicure than last time, but 1) the lady who took my old nails off did it rather painfully; 2) she barely spoke to me at all, and instead yabbered on in Vietnamese (I think) for a good half hour. Talk about awkward. The best part of the whole deal was how she let me get a take-off, full set, and French manicure for $24, when it should have been $26. I will go there again, to get my nails done again, and that time, I'll tip extra to make up for it.

I was so zonked when I got home though, I just slept. I woke up to take the trash out, and then I've been sort of hyper since then, so here I am. Working on BEA, contemplating WDKY and CO7, and trying not to sneeze. X_X

Ah, and work... well, let's just say that Sunday wasn't as good as Saturday. It wasn't as busy, but they did have me help out at ticket drop for a while with Leslie (he didn't want me to help out; he didn't think it was busy enough to warrant help down there). I saw Will and Mariah, too, and it was one of those really fast, "

I did a few AGPs, but for the 8:15 Along Came Polly one, some BIIIITCH was walking into the theater while I was talking. I'd stopped using the mic since it sort of went out on me (something the booth people thought I did by talking *too* loud. I turned it OFF. :P) and was doing my "projection" voice, but this snot just walked up the stairs liek "What the hell is this girl bitching about?" I wanted to kick her ass sooo badly. In retrospect, I could have made an example out of her and said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, THIS is a prime example of Silence is NOT Golden. So if you come across a RUDE PATRON such as this one, do inform one of the crew members immediately, and we will have them REMOVED from the theater." *sugar sweet grin* I wish I'd done that. :P But nooo... I have to come up with a more creative way to do AGPs.

Wanna know what's freaky? One of my managers, Adam M... he worked at the AMC in New Jersey. The one in Bridgewater-- the closest one to Rutgers, where I want to go. He worked there because *he* went to Rutger's-- more specifically, Livingston College. Which is one of the 3 colleges I applied to AT Rutger's U. And even freakier, he majored in the SCILS program, the School of Communication and Information Library Sciences-- the same major department as me! Well, if I do get in and want a transfer to the Bridgewater AMC, I know who to ask for a recommendation... *grin*

So I've actually found more fics worthy of being listed in what I'm going to have be the first official Feature of "Blue Eyes and Apricots." I originally called it "Project: Good Fic," but that is UBERLAME. I need a better title. What I plan to do is sift through all 210+ pages of All rating/Romance genre Yu-Gi-Oh fics, and pick out the best of the best. There are several "Good" fics, but they drop off somewhere... and then those Gems that you just LOOOVE. ^_^ So I think I'll do a star system, of sorts? I can use dueling chip stars to rate them... 4 and 5 star fics only! ^_^ And maybe reasons for their nomination by BEA members...?

yeah! ^_^ WHOOO!

I have yet to make flashy posters for the MovieWatcher program (as I was challenged by AdamW) and one for the GoldHeart sales. Somehow I don't think the existing posters and flyers Jen and I made will work. But they are scented... ^^;

Wow, I'm getting tired again. I wonder if I have "dark circles" under my eyes. That would be bad.

I have work from 12-615 tomorrow. Wake up at 10ish, assuming I don't wake up earlier... I did sleep as soon as I got home and all...

*yawn*

"Dark circles"

Hey, its me Katia. Anyway, once you've mentioned the dark circles, I remembered something one of my professors told the class last semester. It was this seminar on Russian lit, and in one of the books we read (can't remember which one) one character had dark circles under his eyes. The professor, out of nowhere, says that back in those days, if guys had dark circles, then the author most likely referred to the guy masturbating. Yes, I know, its completely irrelevant, but it was funny. And he never did explain why it was implied that the guys did that.

Weird...but that's Cal for ya. ;P
