azuriteHey-ho! Hung out all day yesterday with Ther Gang! Marcella, Rochelle, Eva, Stephanie, and for a short while, Sheila, too! We met out in front of the Metreon (first Stephanie and I) and walked around... we went to Portal 1 (I played DDR USA ^^;; and Mr. Driller) and generally talked and such... The pigeons in this city are psychotic, though.
Went to Denny's for food (I had pancakes!!) and then tried to decide what to do-- we hung at the Metreon for a while and got to experience "snow" and even karaoked to Karaoke Revolution (Gotta get that game!!!!) because the DJs from Live 105 (I used to be on Alex Bennett's show all the time...) were hosting some event there... Rochelle, Sheila, and I all sang, and now we have these cool DVD rental card things! ^_^ Whoo to the hoo hoo!
Sucky thing is, while at Denny's (or was it after?) everyone pretty much told me that if I already sent in my transcript for the Japanese CCSF class that I took this past summer 2003, they'll recognize it as college credit, and I'll be labeled a "lower divison transfer" yet again. *sigh* So CSUN is gone, just like that. They don't accept lower division transfers, EVER. I'd be stuck in San Francisco for at least 2 years going to city, and then I could go to SFSU... frankly, I don't like that plan at all. I hate it when I get hyped up about something. There's got to be a way I can get them to ignore that credit. I mean, I only took the class because I told my high school AND CCSF that I needed to make up a 'D' in my second semester of Japanese in my junior year... yeesh, if they want me to take a competency test, I will...
I'm up at this ungodly hour of the morning because I have to be at work at 9am. -.- Until 4pm. Sucky, especially since it's concession, and I'm opening for the second time in the past week-- alone. I'm HORRIBLE at opening concession! Let's face it, I haven't been up in concession for the longest time, it takes me nearly 15 minutes to remember what goes where!!!
On the bright side, I have an excellent, slowly-developing idea for one of my YGO website's "Gift Fics," also known as "Azurite's lame attempt to get more people to her website." Hehe... I think I'm leaning towards the title "Dragon Blood." ^_^ And it's almost entirely inspired by the "Vision of Escaflowne" Lovers Only soundtrack. Whoo-hoo!
Now removed from the Amazon wishlist: Bedazzled DVD, Honey OST, "Afterglow"/Sarah McLachlan, as per the words of a mysterious, anonymous person replying to this LJ...
I gotta catch up on so many people's LJs. Forgive me if I haven't said anything to you in a while...
