Hi hi, I'm back in the land of fog and bitter cold... aka NorCal! You know in SoCal I actually wore skirts without freezing? Trés amazing. And so sad... I'm pretty sure you could make popsicles out here. Too bad I can't take my faux mink channel throw with me to work, it's so waaarm. <3_<3
Yes, well, about 80 miles from Baba and Grandpa's house, it occured to me that I'd left my new book, "Writer's Workshop" in the rec room beside the recliner... where I'd put my glasses when I woke up earlier that morning. I'd done so many checks to make sure I had everything, and then... AUGH! I can't believe I forgot that! Dad's going back to visit them in December, plus Joe and I *might* be in the region should we go to Disneyland in January... But, if worse comes to worse, when I mail Baba and Gpa their plates, I can ask them to send the book back to me via Media Mail.
Oh, and that CD that I was all hyped up about burning? ARGH, it doesn't work! After I spent all that time burning it, Grandpa's computer said it was a "blank CD" with only 65.7 MB free. Which made no sense to me, so I thought it was some fluke of the computer, or the CD-RW drive. Figured I'd try it at home... which I did. But it said the same thing. I have a CD with "content" on it that takes up several hundred MB of space, but I can't access ANY of it! Darnit, those were some good AMVs! *sigh*
* Seto Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh) - "Hero" by Creed (AMV)
* Yu-Gi-Oh 3rd Season Opening (Japanese)
* Final Fantasy X-2 - "Whisper" by Evanescence (AMV)
Among several others. Mostly classic favs, including "Sunshine, Lollipops, and RrrrRR" or whatever it is... "Stop the Rock," and others... o_O I can't remember 'em all. *sniffle* I even found the Peach Girl OST song again! ;_;
Oh well, I have my Zair. I'm going to take it to work so it can act as my notepad, release from boredom, AND my watch! :D I'm so surprised Fred got me something this cool, but I'm ubergrateful, and therefore not going to question his motives.
I'm working all this week, 1130-730 today, and 1130-6 the rest of the week (up until Thursday). Bummer... But hey, I asked for it, getting ALL of Thanksgiving off. And I guess I'll be making extra money come Christmas and New Year's... time and a half, ya know...
I still need to figure out what to do about that overdraw thing... hopefully they don't charge me on a daily basis of every day the bank's open *squeaks* I hope not! I don't get my paycheck until Wednesday night!
Came up with new fanfiction ideas, but it's already November 30th, and I have NO Nanowrimo story. ;_; November's been less than perfect for me, as if that's an excuse, but honestly, novel-writing was never my thing. I got a little TOO excited about it, I admit, but no one was competing with me anyway. I wish I could go for it, but I've just got too much Seto Kaiba floating around in my head.
And, I have to leave in five minutes. Joy.

Re: back in black..
Date: 2003-12-01 10:37 pm (UTC)As for CCSF, I *applied* for next semester, but if I hear from CSUN and they say I can take a Japanese competency test, I'll have to pass on CCSF; CSUN does NOT accept lower-division transfers EVER, and if I took unnecessary college classes, that's what I would be. And SFSU already sees me as one. -.-;
I'm going for CSUN. I'll pray, fight, kick, scream, and whine. ^_^ Hoo-rah!
