azuriteOh hellz yeah! What a successful shopping shop therapy session! Well, for the most part. My new stash:
* Nordstrom's - New skirts (!) x 2
* Urban Outfitters - New shirts x 2, makeup kit
* DSW - New boots
* Virgin Megastore - ENIGMA "Voyageur" and SAILORMOON "Full Moon Collection" ; MATRIX DVD and BAZ LURHMANN RED CURTAIN TRILOGY "Moulin Rouge," "Strictly Ballroom," and "Romeo and Juliet."
* As Seen on TV - Eyebrow Trimmer thingy
Of course, I have next to no money on my checking/credit card anymore... missed getting out on CDs THAT I REALLY want:
* CHER - Best Collection
* SMALLVILLE Soundtrack
* BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER - 2 CDs (soundtrack and Radio Sunnydale)
* MOULIN ROUGE 2 Soundtrack (2nd soundtrack of the movie; there's no sequel to the movie)
* INDIANA JONES BOXED SET (WIDESCREEN)
Plus, I was so strapped for cash, I have to wait till next week before I can get any manga...
* X-DAY 1 & 2
* INVU 3
* WILD ACT 3
And any others... >_>
But yeah, shopping felt good... even if it was a bit lonely. But it was so fun walking around with all these bags. Lousy experience at Nordstrom's... they're not very helpful there, and one dressing room girl was bordering on mean. Also saw some biznatches from choir that I'd rather forget about. Euch. This is the sacrifice I make if I get into CSUN-- Yes, I give up a lot of my friends, but who says I wouldn't stay in touch (or "stay in touch" the same way I do now... even BEING in SF!?) or something? The trade-off is I get away from my mom, my enemies, and this SF-boringness.
This soundtrack (Full Moon Collection) is pleasantly surprising, even if it is mostly old songs. o_O The remixes are VERY catchy. I wish I had some digital SM footage to make AMVs with... or heck, the time to make them. Har har. Plus this computer is slow as hell. I really want to uninstall RealPlayer. But then I wouldn't be able to watch any of my Fushigi Yuugi. *pout*
My scrappy book is coming along nicely... it's filled with lots of tickets and fortunes, much writing, and a few photos. I have severly underestimated the amount of photo albums and photo space I have. o_O I have SO many photos, it's scary. I'd hate to lose any of them. I eventually have to get to work on my "real" scrapbook, the one meant for more photos and stick-in captions, but it's just not as fun as the BAD GIRL SCRAPPY book.
Oh, by the way, Urban Outfitters, Claires, and several other such places have GREAT stocking stuffer-size and price tix. I simply cannot wait until the holidays. Shocking. Mom apparently is disappointed that I'll be working Christmas Day. She seems to have this distorted memory that we actually HAD family holiday time the past ... er, SEVEN years. Which we have not. Almost all of our Christmases have started/ended with fights, arguments, all that stuff. Usually me decorating the tree ON MY OWN, her bitching at me for not cleaning up the pine needles from our spindly, fake, ugly plastic tree, or the smell of the pine spray. Or putting ornaments away "wrong," even though most of them are old and ugly and broken ANYHOW. -.- It's all for show. I hated not having a spiffy, decorated Halloween party, and while I *could* make up for it on Christmas, the question inevitably becomes, "Should I even bother getting my hopes up?" and "Will it even be worth it?" I have no idea.
Someone tell me why, when I saw "The Matrix" for the first time, I was under the false impression that Trinity was really the One? o_O I watched it again tonight (LONG LIVE KEANU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and there was really nothing in there to think that. Maybe it's because I've since watched Reloaded and Revolutions (only once each... I need the RELOADED DVD) and stuff makes sense... sorta... o_O Hmm.
