It all went downhill from the cocoa

azuriteOh, today was just not my day. It wasn't a day to cry over or anything, it was just BAD. And full of lousy luck, too. I woke up at my set time, still feeling tired... so I slept an extra 15 minutes. Didn't help much. When I wake up and eat and everything, that's all well and good... but of course, I barely worked on WDKY, and now it's 29 minutes (as of this writing) from my self-imposed deadline, and this SUCKS, I wanted this chapter out! I'm such a picky writer. And then I spilled my hot cocoa-- all over my loan paperwork (okay, one page)... but the MUG didn't break! Finally got that cleaned up, and was ALMOST late.
Found out I was the ONLY one in the theater, and had to open up by myself... ;_; Halfway through opening 2nd floor, I got moved to 4th floor. X_X Stayed there the rest of the night, and it wasn't too bad... though the 2nd floor was closed due to drink problems, and the theater was picking up "bad drink karma." Icee machines breaking and syrup running out-- the like.
Well, it ended up okay... got my one ten minute and my thirty, though my pretzel didn't taste all that good. I'm finally succumbing to the "eew, movie food" thing that kicks in with employees. It's like working for a restaurant, eventually you get sick of the kind of food you serve, even if you don't eat it that often. Make sense?
On the bright side, after work, I headed to J-town for a splurge spree. These always cheer me up. Got Yu-Gi-Oh 34 (Priest Seto! OMG, commence dr00ling!!!!!!!!!) AND the first two PGSM manga! I don't see any NEW artwork (I guess it'd stand out too much) but both volumes come with nice new covers, plus stickers! Then there's these beady-eyed senshi in the back of each volume... X_X Kowaii! Also picked up the "Bad Girl's Scrappy Book," and a pack of Magician's Force. And "Forbidden Dance" Volume 2. I need to get INVU 3, Forbidden Dance 1, and a couple of other recently-released manga... Zodiac P.I. 1-3, for one.
Uhm, missed the bus home... forgot it was trash night... came home to a shitload of dishes... thankfully, Mom wasn't being a bitch, and I got to eat dinner and watch "Death to Smoochy," (Omg, Edward Norton is HOTT!) one of the movies I rented last night.
Recently, accidentally let a moth in (didn't kill it yet... GRRR) and almost put my hand on a spider the size of my thumb. Went on an evil vaccuming spree to kill the f*cker, and I think I succeeded... at any rate, the computer room is a lot less dusty. X_X Ha ha.
Someone just emailed me and said my site was great and they liked my original fiction from WAAAAY back (it's not even finished) called "Wandering Spirit." o_O And they do promos for people like me? Hm. Guess I'll find out more later. Hope it's not spam.
I work box tomorrow, from 12-6. And I find out whether I work Halloween or not. And whether I'm going to bring cookies in Thursday or Friday... tee hee hee.
Oh yeah, my aunt's home was destroyed in the San Diego fires. Sad, frightening... WEIRD, since I based Seto Kaiba's mansion in WDKY after it. O_O Some sorta omen...? I wanna download fonts. Ooh, and when it comes out, buy the Yu-Gi-Oh PC game, "Power of Chaos!" WOOOOHOOOOO!
