Crap, I still need to make Brooke that scrapbook! I can't spend any of the $60 Baba gave me for my hair, especially not with the pricetag OVER that amount! Yeeeesh... Mom was telling me that it costs so much money to pay for everything (roof over my head and such) but honestly, why is all this a problem NOW? My Dad's actaully paying her every month, and she still has her paycheck... she can't even take me shopping for clothes? I hope she can give me the extra $40 I need to get my hair done, because it's a wedding, and I refuse to look bad! ^^;; Maybe I should start selling stuff again, a'la OTC. The Fundraiser a'la Mer.
Ah, got inspired last night (don't ask me how, I don't know myself) to write a post-stars fic, somewhat like my Stars fic, "Sleepover." If I said too much, not only would I give away the juiciness of it, but I'd be asking for a noose around my neck. But it's so good, it's BAD, and SO BAD, I can't post it on SMRFF. ^^;; I'm breaking my own rules! ^^; Bad Mer! But I love the idea way too much to let it go. Maybe I'm getting into my fic rut again after all!
Also today... cleaned up the school supply box, and got rid of a crapload of old, crappy binders, dividers, and useless scrap paper (which we have enough of to reconstruct a life-size version of the Eiffel Tower, I'm sure). Hehe, moved the trunk into my room, since it serves no purpose underneath the computer table aside from gathering dust, hiding stuff, and acting as an odd footrest. Moved two more bags of Giveaway stuff out of my room, and I suppose if my left side stops aching, I'll work on my room a little bit today. Have to drop Mom's dry-cleaning off before I head to SFSU. ...I hope Lonnie's there tonight. Call me a sap, I miss him. And after getting the job and everything, I don't know, stuff seems CLEARER than it was before. I want to be enthusiastic and organized about stuff.
OHH! I totally neglected to mention! Alright, if you read the original Freaky Friday, I'm sure you know that it's been done to death, but they pulled it off WELL this time around. I mean, really well. In this version, the "switch" was realized when there was an earthquake. Only Mom and Kid felt it though-- maybe it had something to do with just them getting switched, or maybe it was because they were the only two together, and in such close proximity to one another. When they switched back at the end of the movie, everyone felt the quake. Now, here's the weird part-- there was an earthquake DURING the movie. I swear to god. We're on the fourth floor, and the WHOLE auditorium shakes. There weren't that many people in the small theater with us, but MAN, that was freaky! Some of us thought it was part of the movie! Very strange indeed.
