Remember there is a little thing called Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome -- it doesn't happen just to war vets, it happens to anyone who's gone through a traumatic event (hence the name), and getting mugged in broad daylight certainly counts. If you feel crazy and paranoid for a while, well, there's a reason.
