My 60GB is 22 months old so I thought it had finally come to the end of it's battery life a couple of weeks ago. I got angry and slammed it against the wall, it being the third time it suffered any sort of impact whatsoever since I first bought it. Stupid thing wouldn't turn on! So I went to the store to see if they could tell me for certain that it was the battery...
Dude turned it on by resetting the stupid thing. I felt like a retard. In any case, before it got fixed, I spent the entire time cursing the fact that I spent all that money on an 60GB when all I used up was 12GB. I would've been better off spending 30GB.
I heard the IPODs coming out in November carry longer battery lives...o_o
