Peanut Cream has added sugar and high fructose corn syrup (liquid sugar, the stuff they put in soda), and looks like melted caramel. It smells like peanuts, but it doesn't exactly taste like peanut butter. It's probably used more for desserts (as a topping, like a frosting, or to make something peanut-flavored, as with cookies or cake).
However, jelly here is eaten right out of the cup, as a dessert (like how Americans eat applesauce) but jam is explicitly for topping your bread (toast, croissant, etc).
