You know, this little difference made me curious enough to go look at a fan translation of the original. I uploaded it to my photobucket account, so if you want you can check it out for yourself:
I guess the Japanese language gives way too much leeway as how to translate things 'cause the fan translation also differs slightly from the German manga.
