DevArt usage

Hhhhmmmm . . . ok, I'm not an expert since . . . I think I've only deviated from the same sting of options twice XD But, ok, say you're submitting a deviation (i.e. complete piece) and . . . I'll use myself as an example -- I only use pencil so I'll go Deviation, Traditional (since I'm using traditional materials like pencil, crayon, paint, etc.), next I'll choose Drawing cuz . . . that's what all my junk is XD, if its an anime fanart I'd have to choose Fanart but if it was my own character drawn in anime style I'd choose Anime. I can't really say anything about the other options since I've never used them; however, I DID - when I first started submitting - go through each and every option to figure out what each one entailed. I'm not sure what you have up your sleeve artwise, but I'm assuming you'd put a lot under Digital though you do have the option of putting it under Traditional if it was first drawn by hand then colored or improved digitally.

I hope that helped a little. If you have a specific artwork you're having trouble classifying, I'd be happy to help figure it out ^_^
