Well the adult versions sell really well-- people are really touchy about reading them-- so it's beneficial to both sides. Everyone but the bullies, I guess. Even now, a lot of people prefer the... "prestige" (though I think it's stupid) of the "adult" covers.
Brown paper cover = equivalent of the porn bag (black out bag) I get at The Beguiling when I buy comics. Little old ladies see it and (again) think it's porn.
;_; I can't even narrow it down. I always remember stuff as I read it. ^^; Plus my favourite points are always totally unimportant.
Mediator: Weirdly, weirdly addicting, especially when later on she does some stupid things. I didn't even care I was just...really happy to read them. At the end of book 1 I searched the internet for the meaning of Querida and was very happy. XD You'd think she'd have looked it up earlier herself! Jeez! Yes! Fic worthy! XD Buy them all, there's only 6! I even broke down and got the last one in hardcover since it wasn't availble in paperback yet.
