WHO WILL TRIUMPH!?!?

azuriteHoly crap, it's WAFF vs. TAFF day already. X_X I'm such a bad holiday mod. Well, the way things are, voting may (?) close today, and fics submissions will hopefully continue into this week. Anyway, I plan on submitting some things. You'll see~

mklutz, I have a layout I want to use for the SMRFF, but X_X I can't get it to slice in ImageReady properly. Help?
Oh yes:
1. Post a list of 10 TV fandoms/shows you follow (current or canceled!).
2. Have your friends list guess your favorite CHARACTER and/or PAIRING from each show.
3. When guessed bold the line and write a sentence about why you like that character.
4. Post in your own livejournal.
1. Yu-Gi-Oh - Most people guessed Anzu/Téa, and they'd be right. Why? Well, she's headstrong, stubborn, smart, and still very caring and loyal to her friends. I admire her because she seems like she's been through a lot and is willing to go through more to get what she wants!
As for favorite couple, it's Seto/Anzu, and if you know me at all, that shouldn't NEED explanation.
2. Sailor Moon - I pretty much gave away the answer to this one. My favorite character is Sailor Mars, because we're so alike-- hot-tempered, hot-bodied, and fiery inside and out! But I also like Moon for her spirit and strength, Mercury for her smarts, Venus for her beauty and caring, Jupiter for her grrl-power, and Pluto for her mysterious nature.
For couples, I've been on the SMRFF for gawd-knows-how-many-years, so my fav couple is Usagi/Mamoru. But at the end of Stars, I had a strong liking for Seiya, so Usagi/Seiya is all right in my book too-- with the right amount of tweaking. Not just "let's kill Mamoru!" and wham! Usagi forgets about him. No, no, no. And then of course, the couple I will defend to the death-- Haruka/Michiru. WHOO!
3. Full Metal Panic
4. Escaflowne - Van x Hitomi is my favorite couple, simply because... they work, dammit! Allen is so full of himself, and heck, he has a child! Van and Hitomi matured with each other, discovered each other, and were able to let each other go. Now THAT is a truly strong relationship.
Favorite character-- well, Hitomi is pretty cool at times, but Van with his sexy wings definitely takes the cake.
5. Peach Girl
6. Inuyasha - Someone guessed wrong on this, but I gave the answer away anyhow-- my favorite character is Kagome for her butt-kick, never-give-up attitude, but yet she's inside and allows herself to be (truly) human and accept heartbreak and tough times. My favorite coupling, therefore, is Inuyasha/Kagome, but I also like Inuyasha/Kikyou (if it's from the early days, pre-series), and Sango/Miroku, on a secondary line. Last night I read my first taste of Sesshomaru/Kagome, and it actually wasn't that bad! Hmm!
7. Ranma 1/2 - both_hisgirlfriday_ and winterwing3000 guessed right on this one-- Akane and Ranma are my favorite couple, and Akane is my favorite character. Why? Well, because Akane seems to be the most realistic of all the fiancees. She's not some far-out Amazon with broken Japanese, she doesn't pretend to be a boy to get revenge, and so on... of all of them as well, she's got the most legit claim to Ranma, though men shouldn't REALLY be auctioned off like meat... *halo* Anyhow, they have the best dynamic out of all of them. They fight, they get close and ALLLLLMOST kiss, and then something gets in the way. But if you got to the end of the manga (Vol. 38) you know for sure "Don't You Know? It's LOVE!"
Why Akane? Same reason why I like characters like Mars and Jupiter (Sailor Moon), Kagome (Inuyasha), and so on: butt-kicking ability! True strength, and true heart-- these girls have something to admire and strive for!

Anyhow, I'm hunting Google and eBay in the hopes of finding some good ol' fashioned het doujinshi from Yu-Gi-Oh. I don't care what the pairing is, just make it het, please. Hey, and what about hentai? That's not bad either... X_X (So far the only ones I know of are "Chokoto Miracle," by an unknown artist-- and that's mixed bag hentai, and "Mori no Maigo," which is Mai/Malik, Anzu/Yami no Yuugi, and Shizuka/Jounouchi)
Ehm... I can't believe it's already the end of the week. I should have called Jill since Kara is supposed to be in town, but it keeps slipping my mind. I have slow jet-lag... it's just showing up now. X_X Anyhow, Winamp likes to die on me. That sucks.
