Take THAT, evil hotel chains!
Nov. 22nd, 2004 02:57 pmBwahaa, Debbie (next door neighbor) was right, the lockout in SF is OVER! Mom must be back at work, because when I heard the news the other day and called, she never called back... -_- Then again, on the flip side, that worries me, so I'm going to call her while I'm waiting for a ride home today.
Stuff!
1 - Layout ideas are plentiful. I'm thinking of making one using a prettiful Duel Monsters card (or two), and maybe modifying the Seal of Orichalcos (the ORIGINAL) for Darkness Rising. I'm about to give up on finding similar Mana/Dark Magician Girl full-body images, though.
2 - I have to find that entry I made about the tracks I wanted/needed for the Turkey Tape. I went through all of my September entries, and I had no luck... maybe it's in October? Or maybe before that? I'm just lost here. I tried the Search journal option, but the results weren't even from my LJ! Maybe there's an engine besides Feedster I can use to search my journal, hm? Anyone have any suggestions?
3 - I still have to make that 500+ Review/1st Anniversary image for my FFnet profile (to upload with WDKY12 on the 24th) with spoilers from Chapter 16-- that chappie is so evilicious that I might do more than one, though. *grin* Plus there's the Téa kiss doll (hey, all you people that promised me suggestions, where'd you go?!)
4 - I may be sweet and nice, but sometimes I go overboard. Still, for Scott, I'm actually kind of willing. Turns out that after he gets back from Thailand, he'll spend some time in San Diego, and then he'll come up SPECIALLY to San Francisco to see me! ^_^ Yes, I'll be paying for his ticket, and if I can pull it off, see if Mom can score him 1 night of the 7 at the St. Francis (he has to know what a Heavenly Bed feels like). ^_^ The total cost just fro him will be $98, which is money I don't have right now, but I'm sure I can work something out. (Mom will have to pay for MY return ticket home, or else Baba and Grandpa will, but they're paying for Seattle, too, so they're a last resort.)
Anywho, I'm tired and kind of ill (maybe I shouldn't have eaten that pizza...) but it's 3pm, which means I can finally get a ride home! TEH YAY!
