Guess what? I work a full 8 hour shift today. 9 to 5. O_O Hopefully I'll be working alongside the people I've already met and gotten along with-- Matt (the guy whose name I couldn't remember the other day), Tanya (the girl I met on my first day), and Scott (who I met just yesterday, and happens to be a cute, funny, friendly, and nice photography major/senior. Don't get any ideas). Online desk is fun, if a little risque, just because hiding the 'Net windows when Ray comes out...? Freaks me out. And lately, it's been getting ridiculously busy, leaving next to no time for things like breaks (holy crap, I get BREAKS today!) and getting my own books. -_- I still haven't gotten my FinAid check, so... I might have to ask Grandpa for money. He's under the delusion that I won't need books the first week of school. I'd rather not have to worry about angry professors, though...

Blah blah, yakkity smackity WDKY10 is done. Etc. Etc. I have to leave in about 2 minutes-- are you guys reading this? Yeah... I had fun babysitting James and Nikki the other day over at my Cousin Jill's... we ate fudge cake! Or I did, anyway. Sparky (the dog) threw up again, poor old girl, but she's doin' okay now, I guess. She likes to sleep a lot-- she's like a cat in dog's clothing, same as Harley is a bunny in dog's clothing. Heh. Waiting for a few certain people to get some certain emails, so I'll be checkin' back here later after work. Fat chance of me swingin' by the mall today since a) I have to walk home and b) I only have about $15, which means manga yes, but important things I need-- no, not until I get paid. But hey, I might be $30 richer at the end of the day-- I should be getting paid for Saturday (was it Saturday? I think it was Saturday)'s work. Yeah.

Well, I took a wrong turn today, and I nearly got attacked by a bulldog. Stupid dog. But!
a) Scott was nice and pleasant today, and he's got a nice smile! Too bad he's 24. -_-; (He doesn't look 24.)
b) 8 hours! That's gonna = a lot of money!
c) I only took my lunch, no 15. -_- BAKA! At least Baba was thoughtful enough to bring my lunch when I forgot to. And damn, what a good lunch! Turkey sandwich on walnut and raisin bread, with a Granny Smith apple, chocolate milk, and Reese's Peanut butter cup! :)
d) People think I'm cute and funny. ^_^ Always a good start to an otherwise terrifying school year.
e) I got exercise from all my walking, but no sunburn! Wa~ha!

I put my books (save Autocad, which Dad scored for me-- for FREE!) on hold, to get tomorrow-ish. Hopefully I'll get my FinAid check by then, else I'll have to mooch off Grandpa. *guilt* I work Sunday starting at 9am though...

I'm working on compiling the Definitive Final Fantasy X-2 Vocal Collection. That is, every version, every vocalized song (and their orchestral or instrumental counterparts). >_< What a project. I want to go to Los Angeles with a credit card and just BUY Kinokuniya out. -_-

Oh yes-- the Vatican is mean. I mean come on.  A poor girl is physically incapable of digesting wheat, so you're gonna deny her COMMUNION!? This is why I don't like religions that have "rules" like that. Seriously. What's the difference between wheat and rice and soy or whatever--!? It all grows out of the ground! Who cares if Jesus had THAT SPECIFIC kind of grain or not? Yeesh.

*shudder* Oh yeah, and the Yu-Gi-Oh fandom has been "blessed" with another wanker. Or troll. Or how about we skip the semantics and we just call him/her/it an ASSHOLE? But in this universe, zie goes by the name of 4evaluvvin. This immature brat not only types entirely in caps, but also in idiotic tween pager code. You know, where "you" = u, "are" = "r" and everything ends in a z? Yeah, that. And "it" went flaming members of the straight_ygo community, just for existing. And in "its" personal journal, zie rails about people ragging on "it" for hating Anzu. GEE, I WONDER WHY? God, I HATE STUPID TWEENS!

And it gets worse. From splintered_soul's post on hated_character, apparently the stupidity of tween fangirls is RISING! Yes, some idiot actually made a PETITION to "Kill Tea." (She didn't even bother to use the accent. Dipwad.)

ANNOUNCEMENT! You do not own Yu-Gi-Oh. The series has ended. You cannot change anything, least of all the existence of a character. Write all the disgusting badfic! you want, you're still an immature tween. Stop wasting useless internet bandwidth, server kilobytes, and your own pitiful brain cells by creating petitions that will serve no purpose except to make people like myself laugh out loud at your stupidity. Oh... and I have a lump on my neck. I thought it was an allergy caused by my lotion or something, since I had these goosebump, itchy marks earlier, but they've condensed into one honkin' big lump on the side of my neck. I'm worried, but Grandpa's not. We have to get some Double Antibiotic tomorrow, since I'm allergic to the Neomycin in Triple Antibiotic. My neck hurts...

You know what? I'm thinking of starting an FL or something for the poor hated characters-- the most bashed, and unnecessarily so-- characters of a fandom. People should be able to say why the bashing is wrong, why THEY like/respect the character, and why bashing is a pointless waste of time. Hrm, time to check TheFanlistings.org!

Mamono is right, Mokuba needs more screentime. I wonder if HE has an FL!?
