azurite: (maigo asskick)
Okay, right now my heart feels like it's about to thud out of my chest. I'm having trouble breathing, and this just started up out of nowhere (admittedly, I've had the foot massager on for the past 20 minutes or so, but what does that have to do with anything). I think I'll relax in the recliner and try to beat Chac.

Yeah, I got up to Level 80 in the Cloisters! But I wasn't as well prepared as I thought... stupid guide! Made me think that water attacks would actually do some good, but they do barely any damage before Chac unleashes that hell attack. But, if at first you don't succeed... I'll keep trying, and if I keep dying, I'll go to Zanarkand or wherever to fight the Gucumantz so Chac will oversoul and (apparently) get easier.

Also! Icons! Icons! And Borders! )

Dragonfayth also has a new fanfiction up-- a stalker fic too, and a damn good one at that! Go check it out! If your default skin was Bakura, it's been removed due to bug fixes. But don't worry, it'll be up again soon once we figure out what the problem was!

I'm not going to answer any challenges until I finish WDKY10, which as you know, I've been working diligently on the past few days. Go me. Harley has yet to send me back her grammar fixes, and I hope to hear from Atlantis and Mamono soon as well.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is Jill's dinner banquet (not sure if I'm still doing the breakfast thing with them), plus a new episode of Yu-Gi-Oh and the day my bed comes! Whoo-hoo! The 12th is my Orientation (they bumped it up! Good thing I called the message center like mom suggested!)... and it lasts all day! I didn't know that. The 13th is Yu-Gi-Oh and AVP-- so I'll be parked at the movie theater all day, if I can help it. That same weekend I'll be dogsitting. On the bright side, all the raking and lifting and construction I've been doing has done wonders for my arms, so my "carpal tunnel" doesn't bother me as much, and I think I'll be able to handle two frisky dogs at once. ^_^

Went to Wal-Mart with Baba and Grandpa today-- my first time in many, many years. They've gotten bigger and nicer... it's kinda like Target. But Baba and Grandpa aren't the slow shopper types-- they go right where they need to, get what they need to get, and don't get distracted. We were barely there an hour. ;_; No Jansport backpacks either, but I did snag some nude pantyhose, a "poncho" shawl thing for my dress for Kara's wedding in September, new track pants (so comfy! wearing them now. They fit like a dream!), shampoo (I <3 Garnier Fructis!), Hydrafresh Toner (finally, sweat free and clean face EVERY DAY!), cotton swabs, a new purse (couldn't help myself)... I think that's it. Grandpa was a bit amazed at how much we spent... I'm such a bad girl, taking advantage of them like that. I *did* rake the entire front lawn the minute we got home though. Stupid lerps.

Erin was over here too, with her friends Sincere and Katherine. Or is it Catherine? I don't know, I seem to think spelling it with a K is right for this particular girl. Anyway, they made banana bread that I could only drool over (for a party), while I photoshopped. I got several more of Kysra's arts colored in, but far from finished-- the only finished ones are up at Darkness Rising's Fanart Site, and for ficart, it'll be up on the individual fanfiction pages (Family and WDKY). Yesterday I was almost done with this one of Arina, and Photoshop just POOF!ed on me. No error message, no nothing. Just gone. No save, either. Dirty, rotten trick! But I made up for it and then some today... ^_^
Geh. Logging now. <3 <3
