Yojimbo the Annoying
May. 4th, 2004 03:32 amOkay, so I sort of gave up on Sphere Break-- for now. I did manage to win one game and lose one, and of all things for the strategy guide to be WRONG in, it's the location and difficulty level of the Sphere Break players. I should just get a math genius to come over and play for me. ^^; After leaving Luca, I headed to Bikanel to try and find some more Al Bhed Primers-- no luck, but I did get two other expanses opened up, and I got a few treasures, too. I still suck at Al Bhed. I went to the Oasis too, and started the 2-chapter long Mission: Cactuar Nation! Then after 10 successful digs, I went to Besaid to answer the distress call and fight Valefor-- a semi-easy win. The Dark Knight dressphere really helps.
Now, to unlock the cave in Besaid, I needed to go to the Calm Lands and rescue the tourists-- and I was almost done... until Yojimbo kicked me around. I really should go back to Bevelle and get that Ribbon accessory; status ailments (especially Stop and Poison) are such a pain in the ass for me-- and I run out of MP really easy. It's impossible to find places with Ether! >_< !!
In other news, I plan on working on WDKY10 soon, even if I don't get the new edited 9 back from Harley or Atlantis (who has opted to "supervise" WDKY, and help me with my short-fics instead) soon. I keep finding all these receipt and box office papers that I wrote notes on, and never transcribed them to the planner or my notebooks. ^^; So I have to get writing before I lose all my good ideas-- literally!
Still contemplating layouts for BEA's new edition --and of course, it keeps getting on my nerves that I didn't do enough research to know there was already a BEA Seto/Anzu shrine. Not a fanlisting, true, but still... the other girl's site has been around longer. ^^; But if I *did* change the name, what would I change it to? Anyway, I downloaded some new layouts that have somewhat inspired me; I might end up using them as layouts for sites I desperately need to put up at Souten, anyway. And when I get/create some decent base artwork, then I can work on WDKY. But in truth, my YGO picture *and* fanart collection is quite meager (compared to say, my Sailor Moon or Peach Girl collections). There is NO artbook for YGO, and lord knows I wish there were. That would make my life a bazillion times easier. I only have a few manga to scan from, and coloring in b/w without a tablet takes too long. And my flatbed scanner isn't big enough for my calendar...
In short, can anyone help me find some great YGO images?
Whee, the evil plottage on the RPG ensues! evil!Anzu has made her first appearance as "Zork," and I have to admit, I'm taking a good deal of inspiration from our in-house evil RPer, Illyria (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
taco_geek). Yugi, Atem, and Seto can try all they like, but they won't be able to combat the forces of Zork Necrophidius Version 2.0! ^_^ Bwaha.
