Reality is a lie, and my mother is a joke

Yeah, anyway, so my mom wakes up around 4am and bitches at me, as usual, for the dishes not being done. She's such a hypocrite though, leaving her own dishes and food particles everywhere. Yeah, sometimes I forget about cereal crumbs, or I wipe a few particles of flour on the floor, but 80% of the time, I remember and clean up, if just for my sake not to hear HER whine.
And earlier, when I was at work, I got into this not-so-fun conversation with her over the phone. Blech, I don't know why I bother calling her. Or why she bothers calling me. It's not like she's ever cared when it counts... not in recent past, anyway, it seems. I hate her lectures. I should have just left the break room... I had fun in there, for the most part. The day went by fast. People were fun. Except for that idiotic rumor about me nearly giving an old lady a heart attack... greatly exaggerated, once again, I assure you.
So now mom's pissed that I didn't inform her of my decision to apply to CSUN. I haven't heard from SFSU, and something tells me I might not. And even if I do hear from them -positively- do I still want to go there? I mean... LA's so much... NICER. I can't believe I'm saying that, but it looks like I'm back in my anti-NorCal mood.
Anyway, I finally got the title of the song I want for WDKY Part 9, it's called "I Wish." I know some of the lyrics, but finding the exact artist is a pain. It's like "Jodie Lassina" I think, but I HEARD it, so I'm not sure if it's spelled right. Has anyone heard of her before? It's off her Greatest Hits album. o_O HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, so I have to work later. I should get back to sleep soon, but I want to finish one more scene in WDKY7... damn impossible fic. X_X I still have about 3 scenes to go before it's done. 2 songs, one scene at the end with a cliffie. And two scenes to ADD in, one in the dancing-in-the-living room, and one at the festival. Gaaah... ;_; Seto-sama... gomen...
