What a day. I woke up early without trying to, and FINALLY got back to sleep, only to wake up again a few hours later, with too much to do! I barely had a chance to work on the layout, but I still had to check mail and start sorting to clear up space, along with brainstorm new YGO site titles, do the dishes, and finally leave for work and to vote.
Which I did-- and it was simple and fast, amazingly. But, the way it looks (and this is what I heard at 8:40 at work too) Schwarzie has won. o_O I'm a bit baffled, but... whatever. I'm a newbie here, so until I really see what happens, I can't state any sort of vehement opinion. Mom thinks people should have been crying, but I'm all... >_>; Er...
Anyway, I was on my feet ALL night, and Ushering always feels like longer than it is. Weekdays are supposed to be easy, but when you have screenings, it's always like a bomb filled with popcorn exploded in the theater. My feet are KILLING me! And I played DDR at the BEGINNING of the night, not the end (darn it, there was even a free credit for DDR up until my break! I wanted to play, but I missed out!) ... I cleaned a grand total of 18 theaters in the 4 hours I was on duty, except for my weasly (as in "small") 10 minute break, during which I talked about Broadway plays! o_O I should see plays more often, you know? *wants to feel "cultured"*
(Gee, I wonder with all this hoo-hah about me "talking shit" about people will land me on LJDrama. That would be sad.)
Ooh, ohh, brainstorming goodness! All you Yu-Gi-Oh fans out there, tell me what you think of these potential site titles...
* Even If Tomorrow Dies (a song title from Yu-Gi-Oh)
* Your Move
* Industial Illusions (Pegasus' company... but will people associate that with YGO?)
* Shuffle
* Duelist Kingdom
* Darkness Rising (who knows why I thought of this)
* Domino City/Battle City (could make a map of "places" to visit!)
* Obsession
* Shadow//HEART
* Project Yami/The Yami Project
* All Decked Out
* (The) Duelist's Arena
* (The) Catacombs
* Temple of the Lost Gods
* Okunote (can mean lots of things-- everything from "secret" and "mystery" to "upper hand" and "trump card")
* Kimete ("a person who decides," "winning move," "trump card")
* KAADO no Shinkon (it sounds kinda dumb because I couldn't find a good Japanese word for "playing card" but it means "The Heart and Soul of the Cards")
It's taking me a while to post this (I started... er, at like, 11:40pm on 10/7) because I'm shifting between emails, Yu-Gi-Oh sites, and my stylesheet for the new version of my as-yet-unnamed site, which you should see a screencap/link of SOON (by tomorrow night at the latest, I hope).
I might as well post it now, though... I thankfully have Wednesday (and Thursday too, I think) off... whee! :D Maybe I'll actually go to RTA or somesuch this weekend? Or rent Nancy Drew from Blockbuster? Or heck, maybe ask one of my friends to go see a movie! :D I haven't talked to Kripa in a while, I wonder how she is...
