azurite: (please die)
Yeo, cinnamon raisin bagels, hot cocoa (too bad I don't have whipped cream!) and the wonderful Inuyasha Symphonic Theme Soundtrack playing in my living room. Except, I don't know why in the seven hells I'm up this early. I suppose everyone else is at school now, ergo they have an excuse, but for me, it just feels... odd. @_o I wanted to sleep in until 10am anyway, giving me an hour or so before I'd leave to go to my interview. >_> I don't want to be there uberearly or anything... I mean come on, it's a movie theater-- who goes to see movies at 10 in the morning?

Anyway, so I'm sitting here because there's nothing better to do while I'm waiting for my hot cocoa to cool and all... Did the dishes last night, there's only a scant few left from Mom's breakfast this morning (I'm using a paper towel for my bagel, so hah!) ... cleaned the counters, wiped the stovetop, washed the microwave cover, and cleaned out the inside of the toaster oven. Cleaned up my "mess" of video games in the living room too, and organized the dining room-- geez, whenever I go anywhere, even if it's just two days, Mom loads a whole crapload of chores on me! ;_; She's so annoying, frustrating... augh! And you know, when I asked her for money (Had she asked "How much?" I would have said "$5," since I only need about that much for the bus and BART today) she totally chewed me out! Even if I weren't going to LA, I'd still need money, because I'd be going out to RTA! Hmph. She keeps on saying that my Dad should be picking me up, but Dad's at school right now, not to mention he commutes a hell of a lot farther than she does. Plus, hello, DRIVING to LA? 500 miles-- and gas prices went up to like, $2.25 or something, and he still has to pay car payments, insurance, and get his damned windsheild fixed-- my mom shouldn't talk! Sheesh.

*sigh* Anyway... Uhm, yeah, packed. Used one of my IT computer messenger bags to put all my clothes and stuff in-- using my backpack for "road trip accessories" (hehe, RTA!) and my purse stuffed inside. I think it'll look weird at my interview today when I'm so bogged down with stuff, but what can I do? I just hope BART's not crowded or anything. I'm bringing the apple crisp in a plastic baggie too, so Dad and I can eat it in the shop or something, before we go. Got little bowls, forks, and paper towels, too! ^_^ See, it's nice when I'm prepared... (just watch, I'm forgetting something vital...)

So last night I was thinking what to wear to my interview-- I have this pretty nice outfit that I usually wear to "nice, formal" type events. Pair of black pants, one of my "silky" blouses, my black tie, and my stretchy jacket. I decided to go with red for the blouse-- unfortunately, the shirt was one of many in a bag of wet clothes I'd forgotten about, and left sitting next to my hamper. EEEEEW! I mean, they weren't totally wet, just that sort of wet where you don't need to put them in the dryer. Only they didn't dry. -.-; So they SMELLED when I took them out, regardless of how much I Febreezed them. Mom just had to wake up at 2:30 in the morning (as I was going to sleep) and yell at me for it, eventually stuffing the clothing hanger with them on it into MY room! Well, she opened a bunch of windows and sprayed stuff, but I decided to open more windows and use the air humidifier in the hall/my room to air it out some. By the time I leave at 11ish, it should be nice and STALE smelling in my house-- like normal. :)

Hmm, looks like I have until Halloween/Samhain to finish that Sailormoon Christmas story. It's weird, I wasn't even reading the SM manga, watching the anime, or anything, but that just came to mind a while ago-- as did yet another idea for some oneshot-series. >_> My brain just doesn't like me. It spouts out ideas left and right, and forgets about the ones it came up with ten seconds ago. *le sigh*

You know what's weird, there's certain parts of the IYSTC (Symphonic Theme Collection) that sound like Star Wars, and then there's one that almost sounds like a bit from Beauty and the Beast. Unintentional, or "homage" tributes?

*yawn* Nothing to do right now... I'm tired...
