azurite: (please die)
^_^ Guess what, guess what!? BWAHAHA! I am now the Princess of Darkness with an absolute palate! ... Okay yeah, doesn't sound that funny. But it does if you get the in-joke. =D That is, in the game SO2 that I have been playing obessively, there is a mini-game called "Cooking Master." And I finally beat it! Beating the various chefs Yarma, God and Prince of Darkness with his absolute palate is supposedly a rare occurrence. I always come within a few hundred points, but I finally won! Using Rena, of course, on a Full-Course Battle-- and I won by only 99 points! ^_^ YATTA! YATTA YATTA! =D

*confused* But the prize I got was a 'Full Course Ingredient Set.' Now, if you succeed at stealing from the 'Yarma Guard' in the Inn in Giveaway, you get something entirely different, called a 'Yarma Cooking Set.' I got it once in another game, but died, and never succeeded in stealing the set after that. o_O I wonder what the difference between the two was!?

am i really? really really? )

Oh yeah, and I finally unlocked the North City Secret Files! Pretty incredible stuff, as Reyfus said... I copied everything down into my Fanime notebook so I can transpose it to Blacklight Arcade's Star Ocean site (hm, I forgot if I have a name for it or not) when I get more of the Guides done. I bet someone has them online already, but... ~_~ Whatever.

Yeah, as you can tell, back from Crystal's sleepover. I got there a little late, since I had to do the dishes and the counter and everything, but I had fun (!) doing them, and got everything all nice and cleaned, even without mom there to nag me. =) Didn't have to bring a sleeping bag, just some spare clothes, videos, and a pillow. Stopped by at Blockbuster because I had *just* enough money for renting a DVD.

When I got to Crystal's, Eva'd left to get tapes, and Evie and I just sat around for a while (uh, what WERE we doing? *scratches head* Watching TV?) until Eva came. We were playing various games (Cranium, Jenga, Uno, card games) and "Spoon" which I remembered to play, thanks to Crystal. ^^; But she's a sore loser sometimes, and it makes it hard to feel happy about winning, when someone is grouching, saying "If only I'd..." and glaring at you. ^^; But hey, she made some killer cupcakes, and let me use this nice, warm, down-sleeping bag that I was soooo comfy in!

We watched Shrek, too. The end Karaoke bit was hilarious.

the administration is going DOWN! )

Dinner was a pizza, salad, garlic bread, soda, and cupcakes for dessert. All very yummy. We stayed up pretty late playing games and watching "A Walk to Remember," the DVD I got. Gah, I was so happy to see it again! Crystal and Evie, I think both read the novel, and were making comparisons here and there. Me, I was just swooning over Shane West. ^^; Can ya blame me, either, especially after Evie told me Paul Walker was married and had a kid? *sniffle*

I still believe the following:
Paul Walker + Shane West / Vin Diesel + Garrett Wang x Johnny Depp + Orlando Bloom^2= Perfect Guy
And:
Mer = fangirl =D

etoo... )

Evie reminded me of FFnet fics for AWTR. Some of these look downright scary, but seeing the movie again (and I ALMOST didn't cry! So close!) --and I will watch it again-- maybe shortly before Jonathan comes over...? If I can get him to come over tomorrow, before he leaves the 14th (and that's just a guess, assuming a week to him actually = 7 days, and not 5). *ahem* So yeah, great movie. I actually like Mandy Moore's acting, and want to check out "How to Deal," especially since it's supposed to be a combination of two-books movie, books that we're reviewing on the Book Divas board (where I should start getting more active...)

Blah, PsyJoe called while I was sleeping earlier today (didn't leave Crystal's till after the baseball game-- we totally owned the Diamondbacks, 8 to 1! WHOO HOO!), about going to see "Pirates of the Caribbean," which everyone probably knows I want to see, since it stars two of my "factors of the Perfect Guy," Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. =D Unfortunately, getting the DVD for a week took the last of my cash. And mom's probably not coming back from Gary's tonight ANYWAY, so it's unlikely I'll be able to get any, should I suddenly decide to go tomorrow. -.-; Maybe I should call Jonathan tomorrow if I *can* get money, and we can go see it together...?

Gah, I hate making phone calls though. I was getting all distracted while I watched Initial D tonight (got up to episode 20!) and thinking how I'd somehow screw up when trying to RSVP to Brooke's shower. I mean, I asked Baba if she could just tell Joyce for me, since back then, I was acting as the middleperson between the Sweets and my mom, who was going to hook up a room for all the out-of-towners (that'd be everyone) going to the shower. The hotel ended up being full and Joyce pulled something off anyway, but I still don't want to call... ~.~ Baba said I could email Erin, but I only have her AIM SN, and she's never on when I am. *bites nails* Darnit! Baba did say she wanted to go out with me and Mom beforehand, to lunch or something, so I guess that'll be enough, right? ^^;;

i know i don't play IIDX, but... )

Ah yes, somewhat working on "Dangerous Games," an Initial D fic of mine ^.~ Got more ideas while watching these latter episodes, as they're packed with romance, and we see more of Yuuichi and Bunta than normal. Obviously "Dream a Dream" still takes precedence in my mind, but still~

Hey, potentially dumb question ahead. Why don't the racers in Initial D use NOS? Nitrous Oxide, I mean. I can think of the obvious answer being "well, it's called Initial D because they DRIFT, and there's lots of CORNERS, and you can only really use NOS on straightaways..." which makes sense-- but is that honestly true? I mean, if you have good control over your car, couldn't you honestly handle the boost NOS would give?

Anyway, dumb things aside... came up with more layout ideas, many of which I have to get my tail off and DO! Yeah, and I still gotta check my other email. Maybe I got more reviews...? ^_^ And I'll see how the polls on the SMRFF are going, since I'll have a week to make out the awards. *snore* I slept so much today, I'm actually tired when I'm supposed to be! Yay...?

Maybe tomorrow if I'm still broke and Jonathanless, then I'll park myself in front of my PSX and find a way to level everyone up to 140s before I head to the CoT. It's harder than it sounds-- Opera, at Level 101, got nailed by a stupid lizard demon that Stoned, Poisoned, AND Paralyzed her somewhere around Match 23 of the Survival Battle. Isn't there some armor that protects against all status ailments? Blaaaah.

*snore* Well, check email, maybe watch more Initial D, and go to bed by 12:30ish. Yeah.
