azurite: (kitty)
Ah, this is niiiice. Okay, not perfect, but niiiice. My hair's not BLONDE BLONDE (like Christina or Britney or any of them) but it's a strawberry blonde, which looks okay. It's all nice and even at any rate, and Lida even gave me this $10 "blue stuff" shampoo that evens out the tone for only $5! Plus she dyed my hair (post 3-hour bleach job) for only $20, instead of the usual $69. Plus I managed to negotiate her down from the normal $85 to $75. I sorta look like a preppy Nancy Drew. ^^v The 1-day blue stuff should still work fine though. And since it's sort of reddish, can Mike and Jonathan still crack dumb blonde jokes? I need comebacks for those, just in case.

ANYWAY... so I met up with Jonathan (YAY!) earlier at the 9th Ave/Geary stop... he was hiding behind a tree. On the way there, I forgot that I'd have to walk past the Mortuary (where my sister's funeral was... NOT FUN!) and I was being all sentimental and such, given that we're getting closer and closer to July 20th with each passing day (duh, that's how time works... so says my inner logistics agent). So I was sort of twisted-faced when I met up with Jonathan, but then, so was he, with his face half grinning, half... something else, I couldn't tell.

I deposited my check from Jill into the bank, then we hopped on the next regular that came. I managed to snag a seat shortly after 6th Ave, I think, and then Jonathan sat in front of me. We had random conversation about weird things-- stuff just came up. Silences with him are either REALLY pleasant, or REALLY awkward. I think the next time we go out (which unfortunately won't be till after the 22nd, since he's going to band camp or somesuch and isn't getting back till then) I'll have to print out a blank survey from SurveyHolics... or maybe bring along my "book of questions" and see where he stands on odd, random, and controversial issues! Always great topic starters, those things! Ehe...

I was so nervous about today, you wouldn't believe. Half of me insisted that I'd get stood up or otherwise embarassed-- by making a klutz out of myself on DDR, for trying to pay for his ticket (which I did anyway...) or by running into people I knew. Namely, I was terrified of running into Lonnie (ahhahahah!!) but of course, that wouldn't/didn't happen. I don't know why I dreamed of that happening last night. All in all, it's in the past, and I had a VERY VERY good day.

We got to the theater soon enough, and stood in line for tickets... still a half hour before the show started, so I played some songs. =P I knew I shouldn't have picked my songs out in advance, because that probably contributed to my crapiness. I played "Break Down," "I Do I Do I Do" and finished off with "Can't Stop Fallin' In Love (Speed Mix)." But I kept screwing up, because for some dumb reason, my legs felt like weights. Maybe because I was so self-conscious that Jonathan was watching my every move (FROM BEHIND!!) and I couldn't do anything even remotely dance-esque or show-offy, as if I ever do ANYWAY... >////< Anyway, that was a big mess-up, but at least he said I did tons better than *he* ever would have. It would have been cool to DDR with him anyway. I think being in ROTC somehow improves DDR skills. o_O

After that, on to "2 Fast, 2 Furious." GOOOOOD MOVIE. I seriously enjoyed myself. Did *not* need Vin Diesel AT ALL! Lead white dude (whatever his name was, he was HOTT!) was definitely good enough as the sole lead... Tyrese was a definite plus (even though we only saw him with his shirt off for all of 3 minutes) BUT... well, the posters were misleading. Eva Mendes' character NEVER ONCE drove a car, let alone that blue muscle Ford (I believe it was a Ford... either that or a Mustang). The characters were pretty stereotypical... rich, evil Miami-white dude, skater-dressed lead white dude, stereotypical black dude... even Suki (is that even a real Japanese name?!) was acting stereotypically Japanese, with her anime-styled GPS system that "growled" when she gunned the N20. The first race was pretty sweet, admittedly. It sucks that there wasn't more grrl action though. =P I loved the car scene when ALLLLL those cars just came PILING out of that warehouse... man, that was killer! ^_^

At the end, some stupid FOBilicious kid stood up and was all "Uh... whaa...?" and turning around, confused. I was trying to watch the kick-ass CG-race scene at the end (they even showed the neon underlights on the cars!) and told the kid to "Sit down or get out!" J.Po gave me this look that said (and he actually SAID this later on...) 'Damn, don't mess with Mer when she's trying to watch her car movie...' hehe... the guy sat down! I think J.Po was somewhat awed...

In the latter half of the movie, I moved the rip-off $4 Cherry Coke I'd gotten (I think if it'd been an Icee, J.Po a) would have wanted some and/or b) I/we would have finished it. Blah, so I drank only half of it and wasted like $2) to the side, and spent the rest of the time sort of leaning against him, shoulder-to-shoulder and holding hands. They had a particularly nasty (gross-nasty, not sex-"nasty") part where I just squeezed his hand, and he held my hand back, which was very nice. ^_^

Just got off the phone with Mike. Saturday is closing upon us-- but he's leaving the 27th. Hmm, thoughts, ideas, things to do, say, ask, and wonder... but I'll save those surprises for later. See, half of me wishes J.Po could be like Mike-- more in the sense that he'd be talkative and confident of himself. But then, all my experiences with guys that have HAD girlfriends/sex/all that jazz before have not been so good. =P I just want this "thing" with Jonathan, whatever it is, to be good, and to LAST. =}

We did have some real conversation and nice-nice (err, don't get the wrong idea from that, please) time today... it won't make up for a week of not seeing him though. *frown* I mean, I found out he's got a sister who's still going to Presidio; her name's Sarah. We hung out at the St. Francis and pondered why there was a "Tetris Room" on the 8th floor stairwell hall (with a sign on the door requesting you take your shirt off...?) and other assorted oddities. I took him on the mandatory tower-elevator and balcony-view. We stayed out on the 26th floor balcony, totally uninterrupted, for a good 15 minutes, at least. It was cold at first, but he didn't seem to mind just standing there in his T-shirt, overlooking Geary in the cold and fog, somewhat snuggling. ^_^ I'm so happy...

After that, we headed down to the Metro station... he came with me to Lida's for a while, but left around 6:30 when my appointment was. I did manage to snake a kiss (or three!) out of him before he left, and this time, he wasn't so shy about it! Whoo! Not aggressive or breath-stealing, but still... *lax look* Ooh yeah. Besides, the boy's got quite the grip when he puts his mind to it! Hehe... and I have the satisfaction of knowing, "NO, HE IS NOT GAY." I was being paranoid that all my attentions on him were for naught, for one reason or another, but today I found out, quite happily in fact, that he does indeed like my paying attention to him, in all my... shall we say, varied, ways. ^_^ I turned him on! WHOO!

Anyway, so now it's Jonathan's turn to "do the asking" -- we made a deal of sorts, and he has an entire week to come up with something we could both do that we'd enjoy. Since I asked him to come with me to 2F2F (maybe I should call it 2F²?) the next call would be his, doing something *he* wanted to do. He says he doesn't get out much, but he's been to RTA before, which I find COOL... maybe we can go to the next Bemani Night together (in two weeks!) and he can show off his l33t Time Crisis skillz... >_>

Speaking of RTA, and getting off the boy-topic of J.Po (for once in a span of many days, I presume) when Will mentioned there was a hot girl named Meredith working at RTA, I FREAKED. So much for the remote possibility of *me* ever working there (Jeremy made a vague suggestion when he happily told me about his job there, so I started talking about how I could never get hired because a) I don't come enough-- an indisputable fact and b) not many chicks get hired in terms of games and arcades... he shot that right down with all the girls he named at RTA, but regardless...) -- they'd never hire two white girls named Meredith ANYWAY! Haha, it'd still be cool to meet this other Mer though. I wonder if she spells her name the same way I do...?

Oh, got prom pics today. I just realized, they don't fit in the stupid frames they gave us! What bakas... but maybe I'll get around to scanning them (either borrowing/using/buying a scanner) or something later. I still have all the pictures from the PicCD to put on "SnapShot," which needs a better layout-- maybe text links? They're easier to deal with than thumbnails, at any rate.

Did I mention how at Lida's, she grilled me on Jonathan as soon as he left? She thought he was Lonnie (who I suppose I described to her at my pre-prom appointment) and since I'd mentioned Jonathan having to get home before his parents interrogated him (I wonder if they did that anyway? Jonathan mentioned that he didn't like giving details out about where/who he was going places with, as his mother said something along the lines of "Ooh, so you FINALLY have a girlfriend, do you? *grin grin*"). As I told Lida, Lonnie doesn't HAVE parents, so this confused her until I sorted things out. Plain and simple, I don't like talking about Lonnie anymore, not even here in my LJ. So hopefully that ends NOW.

Gah, it's getting late... or early. I mean, tomrrow a) Yvette's coming over to pick up her prom pics, b) I have to go to CCSF early and get all my supplies for class AND pay the $44 for my tuition... I want to get lunch/supper/dinner at McDonald's (will start being my routine food for the next 13 weeks every Tuesday and Thursday, unless anyone is nice enough to meet me for lunch beforehand elsewhere) and... wow, I'm starting to get tired. At least my head's not itchy anymore. And I want to make more digital vector art-- what did everyone think of that last picture I did? I want to something else now... maybe KiSS dolls! ^_^

z_Z going now... whee... sweet dreams ahead!
