The Modern Snow White
Sep. 8th, 2001 02:59 pmLips as red as blood, skin as white as snow, and hair as black as ebony... she's the Modern Snow White.
This is a weird description of me that I think kinda fits. If anyone gives a beagle's butt about what I like, don't like... all that basic jazz, read on. I have some weird notes in here too:
Someone is trying to kill me while I sleep
I woke up 2:37 AM on the morning of 9/7/01 to find a bleeding scar about an inch and a half long on my wrist. Now, I'm no cutter. I've had a depressing life, but so far, it's been pretty damn good. I could think of only two other possibilities-- the broken zipper on my sleeping bag or my pocketknife. But my pocketknife was on my dresser, and my zipper-- complete with sleeping bag, was on the floor. I wore no sharp necklaces, keys, watches, or anything else, and my nails... well, they aren't. I have no nails, I have stubs. Maybe I want to read too much into this, but I think it's pretty weird that I got a cut that could have killed me if I wasn't such a damned light sleeper in the middle of the night without explanation. I don't have an evil stepmother, but I do have a whacked out dad who's 50 miles up north. Not to mention a freaky mom, fun friends, a messy room, and a late sister. Am I being haunted?
I love to laugh... hahaha...
So when I'm depressed, in need of some laughs, want to giggle insanely (to get attention, of course) or just to show off my wild philosophy, I go to fontgarden.com, or engrish.com, or I listen to weird songs, like "Tubthumping" (Chumbawumba) "One Week" (Smashmouth) and some other weird ones. Laughing is very good for the soul.
I'm obsessive-compulsive
When it comes to writing, Japanese stuff, journalism, and the organization of everyone's house but my own. In the latter case, I once cleaned up the entire basement of my aunt's old house in Long Island, NY for fun. -_- This coming from the girl who is proud to have an A-bomb site for a room. I hate flossing my teeth and think lawyers, dentists, and various other occupations should be abolished. The irony is that at least one of my family member's on my dad's side have those occupations.
The computer is my best friend
Because I have so many good buddies (56 "Moonies" and 45 "People I Know") I talk to them all the time online. My "usual haunts" online can vary per my mood, homework amount, and the time of year. I spend at least an hour checking my email (have about 6 different addies that I check regularly) and more chatting/IMing with my multitude of my friends on AIM and YIM. I have, myself, about 5 different SNs. I use two regularly, and the other 3... well, not often at all. I check out sites like moonromance.com, fanfiction.net, opendiary.com (duh!) my friend's sites, windowsupdate.com, tucows.com, fontgarden.com, and various lyric sites depending on my search. I used to be a Napsteratic, but it's becoming annoying to not be able to dld anything anymore. So I might get "Morpheus". AudioGalaxy was too confusing, and no one used Aimster. I'm not good or bad with graphics, but I am a font anon. I have several like-the-real-thing programs like PrintMaster, Ability PhotoPaint, and Adobe PhotoDeluxe. I'm an intermediate wiz with HTMLing, and want to learn more Java, XML, and CSS. I'm not into getting a degree for it and working for *.coms, but I do like working on the Net and designing sites.
Listen up!
I'm a music junkie. It's my falling-- because I have debts to those crappy CD companies, even though THEY totally scammed ME. *grumble-grumble*. I listen to Japanese music regularly, but I also like Cantonese, Tagalog, Swedish, German, Italian... even though I usually don't know the meaning of the words I sing. ^^;; I listen to Alice 97.3 (alternative rock-pop) every day, and used to listen to Radio Disney 1810 AM, except I got sick of "Shape of My Heart" every 10 minutes. Alice actually used to be my fav station in the early 90s, when it was KRQR "Rock of the 90s". My fav song was (still is, really) "So Happy Together". I also like a lot of 80s songs like "Radar Love" and stuff. ^.~
What?
I've never been to a good concert. I'm a roller-coaster fanatic. I used to bowl on my middle school league. I'm highly competitive. I'm so pale (it's genetic) that I cannot tan, and my nickname (that I am actually proud of) is Casper. I wear black almost every day. I've been to Reno (shock! just recently!) but hate smoking, alcohol, and gambling with a passion. I support gays and lesbians and all other associated "questioning" people. Why shouldn't I? I think abortion should be legal, but drugs shouldn't be. I want to stay in California for college, and am already researching options, scholarships and stuff. Money burns a hole in my pocket. I don't crush on guys easily-- I've probably only had about 4 serious crushes in all of my 16 years. Their names-- Robert, Kirk, Chris, Jason. Still stuck on Jason, though my dream guy (sadly) looks like one of those bishounen (hot boys) from Ranma 1/2.
Debate with me...
And risk losing. I hate arguing with my mom though, and witnessing such arguments, because they are both frustrating, and embarassing.
Merry meet and merry part...
I consider myself Neo-Wicca, so I sign off with this greeting/closer-- Merry meet and merry part. Thanks for your time.
