^_^ *giggle* I think it's rather accurate, don't you?
Oh yeah, everyone-- I hope you haven't done that sausage meme, because it apparently hacks into your LJ account and such-- if you want more info, go to
Let's see-- a surprise today! I actually ended up meeting the Fanime people, which turned out to be Ced, Ryu, and... >_< Uhm... someone else who I forgot-- Faxx, maybe. Anyway, they weren't half bad, not scary guys at all. We hung around at the (holy crap, we have one of these!?) SF Visitor's Center near the Powell Bart, and then we headed to the Mall for food. Ced was nice enough to let me grab a soda from the Mexican place, and after that we went to BK for Ced and (I'm pretty sure it was) Faxx. o_O Scarily enough, Ced won a free Whopper from that drop-the-coin-in-the-water-on-the-tiny-platform thing. No one EVER wins those!
Uhm, after that we WALKED to Pier 39. Yep, all the way from BK. It was rather pleasant though, being so warm outside and everything-- and we talked a bunch on the way there, though with my memory, you know I hardly remember a thing! We followed the F-line tracks (avoiding getting hit by trains a few times) and then went to RTA. Now, being the broke sorry sap I was, I couldn't play anything myself-- I didn't even have any of my tickets or tokens leftover from previous excursions. But now, I'm determined to go there at least once this summer for Freeplay Wednesdays, not to mention have a proper going-away party with the rented room and the pizza and everything. Hopefully Mom would be agreeable enough for that. ;_; I still don't know anything about the move or the tuition or what. Eek, I'm rather scared...
And I'm thinking HP3 has rubbed off on me, because am I coming off a bit British sounding? I think I am. I can hear Ron Weasley reading my journal aloud in that accent of his (and then him leaning back from the monitor saying "What accent!?").
I played one game of Max 2 with the guys (they switched off), since I showed them how to do the Jon-In-Free thing-- which is pretty unusual at arcades. You know the Metreon doesn't do it-- but you get 5 stages. Still 75 cents for 4 stages is a damn good deal, and cheaper than anywhere else I know. Then there's Extreme, which Jeremy (it was so cool seeing him again!) rigged for a moment to show me the Edits he'd loaded onto the hard drive. Even on beginner, THEY WERE INSANE. *shudder* My legs... ow. But hey, I tried! I do want to get better at DDR, and maybe get my thighs looking nicer before school starts, eh? ^_^
We got Donuts from Trish's (Ryu was nice enough to treat --he also got me a soda!-- and he got a "big bag" for only $5.75, which is 24 mini donuts of goodness!!) -- and I found a HAIR in it, so we got to return it for a whole new bag! :DDD We sat eating them out by the new mini-playground in front of the Aquarium, and then we took an overpacked F back to Market. They got off on first sight of a Bart Station, and I caught the 21, and walked the rest of the way home.
Now, here comes the "fun" part. I actually saw MOM at the gate when I got home, and she looked somewhat happy-- though how was I supposed to know it was because Gary had JUST shown up. Bah, who am I kidding, like my mom has some psychic caring connection to ME, her last living daughter!? Anyway, so she was all smiling and saying, "Hey, Mer's home!" And in a show of dramaticized enthusiasm I went up to hug her, but you know, small gateway, and fling! One of her glasses' lenses goes flying, and she gets all mad at me.
Who was I thinking, that she might actually be HAPPY to see me coming home!? That she might actually GIVE a rat's tail when she comes home from work, and I'm gone! Steph's right-- Gary's probably going to make himself right at home here. They'll do their biking and bedding stuff all the time, and she'll never even call me. It's not like she acts like much of a Mom when I am here, what's to say she will when I'm gone!? Hmph.
*sigh* On the bright side, I got a ride from Gary and Mom (who, being the bat she is, didn't understand why I was upset, post-shower, at her) to 17th and Geary... I took the bus to the Metreon to meet Katia, Steph, Jason C. and Crystal. We mucked around a bit waiting for Sheila, but she couldn't make it, so we headed inside. Once her ticket was refunded, we went upstairs-- I spotted Jeremy/Skeletor (he looks kinda odd w/o facial hair, and since he's no longer going with Gina R., as far as I know, any connection *I* have with him is severed) along with PsyJoe-- by then everyone had gotten their snacks (Cotton candy, soda, and a HUUUGE tub of popcorn) and we went inside.
I tried to finish up as much of HP3/PoA as I could, but I only made it to page 143 or so before I got distracted by previews and such. o_O "Sleep Over" is yet another silly teen flick that I might see if I got the tickets for free! Steph said something about a contest where you can show up in your PJs and see the flick for free. Anyway, doesn't Chad Michael Murray get sick of working with such... kids!? Seriously, he has more of an adult part in Everwood. (I should think-- I've never watched it, but he looks like he's getting some steam in the commercials!)
Bleh bleh bleh... movie... I started to nitpick a bit more, having read the book, but Steph seemed irritated when I tried to ask her stuff, or talk to her. o_O Her expressions, especially, were kind of funny, if not telling, so I tried to stop. :P I just thought it was unfair, since this time, JUST LIKE LAST TIME, she and Katia were whispering away while I was feeling a bit left out. And it's all their fault I got into this darn fandom anyway! *fake pouting* Blah.
Anyway, so I'm pretty exhausted... the dishes will have to wait till tomorrow. I might finish off HP3 before going to bed (that way I finish 1 book per 24 hour period!) and then... yes, glorious sleep!
o_O I'm tempted to make a HP Quiz, but nothing like the likes anyone else has seen before... hmm... *starts dreaming in Photoshop*
P.S. Later I might do a Nitpicker's Guide to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Movie/Book). Keep your eyes peeled (for a future potion! Bwahaha!)
