azuriteWow, there's actually not a lot of people here, and I managed to snag the computer for a short while!
The flame-war has died down somewhat, and I've suddenly changed my stance; maybe that's why I feel weird, I've undergone one of those "changes." So now I don't care about Set/Seth/Seto... the first two *do* irk me, but I'm beyond complaint now. I would, however, like someone to point me at the interview in which Takahashi said Seto's name (in the Egyptian arc, spelled with Katakana characters rather than kanji) was based off the God Set's name. Perfectly understandable-- especially with Isis' presence. Isis was an Egyptian Goddess... Osiris and Ra (two of the god cards) are both Egyptian Gods as well (though if Isis had anything kinky going on with Osiris/Slifer, I would be *afraid*). I don't know WHAT is up with Obelisk.
Everyone seems to be relatively pleasant on the ygo_writers board now... I'm half under the belief that I was delusional when I made my post. Really, why I was I being such a prick? *shrugs* I just don't get it. But at least I've talked to some interesting people, gotten some interesting perspectives...
No one seems impressed at all by my new dress. It's nice-- shows a bit of skin (*blush*) and has butterflies all over it. :) It's "Simple and Clean." I have to keep adjusting the front so my boobs don't show though. I forgot that the dress has the fold-over fabric, so... >_< Yeah.
I got *ANOTHER* fic idea on the way down here, while reading "The Girl With The Pearl Earring." Vaguely reminds me of Stormlight/Quickening's "Artistic License" (Peach Girl), but not so humorous. If you know the fic, then you might be spoiled, otherwise... well, if I have time this week, I'll write it.
I want more betas. :) Like a team of them. TEAM BETA! TRANSFORM! MORPH INTO THE MEGAZORD BETA THE MAGNET WARRIOR! Whohohoho!

I thought the seder was supposed to start at 6, but I guess not. o_O I have no idea what room I'm staying in... maybe here in the rec room or something. I did't know Sally was going to be here (*urk*) but... what can you do? >_< Family is family...
Eh. I gotta find something to occupy my time until they kick me off. But I'm kneeling on the carpet before the computer here; they stole my chair!
