Obstructions to knowledge
Jan. 15th, 2004 06:27 pmEvery darn PHP book at the main library's been checked out. I made a request for one (their system seems kinda new; I wonder if that means I successfully placed a hold or not? I'll have to check) but I don't know if it'll go through. Worse comes to worse, I can spend $25 and go to Border's, buy a new "PHP and MySQL for Dummies." Eh, why not?
Okay, so I paid for the admissions fee, now all that's left is sending off my SAT and AP test scores. Mike thinks that even with a 3 on both my US History and Writing AP exams, it'll "impress" the dean. I suppose if he looks at those scores and sees how I flunked both classes, yeah, maybe... ^^;
Hey, so I should be a courier. This was something I considered a while ago, but if the movie job doesn't pan out through May, then why not? I'm in a "gateway" city, and couriers are always needed to fly discount to Asian countries-- free trip to Japan, much? Of course, more research required, as always...
Snagged a book on Dreamweaver 4; if I want to update Snapshot and get the Fireworks plugin working, I should abuse this manual for all its worth. I just have to check it out first, ehehe...
*yawn* I had an Anti-Atkins diet for lunch today. 4 Honey-Wheat rolls, an unfinished blueberry muffin, some Cherry Coke, and popcorn. :DDDD I love my metabolism. But I should take better care of my body, eh? Maybe DDR on a daily basis? Haha... No one can say my legs aren't toned! They might turn into a "J-Lo Bubble Butt" up there somewhere, but I walk SOOOO much (I got lost the other day trying to get to McAteer from Forest Hill) and such. My storngest muscles are in my legs. And my mouth. Hahaaa... ^_^ Okay, maybe that wasn't as funny as it sounded in my head. :P
Okay, so it's nearly 6:30... I did get off work early, and the library stays open until 8, but my login on this compie here only lasts another 7 minutes or so. So I better jet.
Mwah!!!
