Hello? Yes, I'd like an extra dose of YATTA!

Okay, so yesterday wasn't really all that-- not only was it STILL raining and I was running late (forgot my wallet at 'Niichan's, and then I got a ride from him to the Met), but most people didn't show up until waaaay late. We didn't get the movie thing underway until after 4 o'clock, and despite me and Crystal (who DID show up) voting, it still ended up being Meet the Fockers. I didn't want to see it, but it ended up being funny anyhow.

[livejournal.com profile] tidus didn't show up at all, which was a bummer-- compounded on the uber-bummer, which was [livejournal.com profile] katiat325, [livejournal.com profile] cutieme4u, and [livejournal.com profile] schmollieollie giving me the shaft-- making me think they'd show up, and then canceling on me at the last minute for lame (though understandable) reasons. There was no point to it all in the end though-- not only did I get harassed by creepy guys, but the ice rink was closed (hockey) and the bowling rink was only open for another hour... so essentially, we went back to the Metreon for a measly half hour, and then left.

Oh, the creepy guys thing? Well, there was this guy who never bothered to introduce himself to me, but apparently he was invited. He always sat near me, tried to feel me up on multiple occasions, and intruded on private conversations with my friends. -_- Pissed me off, and I told him as much, but the guy didn't take a hint. When we were taking a picture, he kept trying to put his arm around me, so I kept shifting and trying to get Crystal closer to me. >_< Then, James of all people called me after the movie. He just sent a message saying "PLS CALL THIS NUMBER," so I did-- and found out it was Cris's house. I figured [livejournal.com profile] staplerx told him about the get-together, and he wanted to show up-- turns out Cris was at work. James called me to talk to me. About what, I have no idea. Nor do I care. I just wish him and the rest of the guys stuck in my "I don't want it" creep magnet field would just GO AWAY!

On the bright side, my handsome, romantic, sexy knight in shining armor will be coming in a week! Okay, a bit over a week! Scott misses me so much (and is so bored out of his mind, not being in Thailand) that he decided to bump up his trip here to SF to the 12th-- a whole week early! He could either pay $60 on top of the $40 Southwest ticket I bought, or he could pay $40 and take a longer Greyhound bus trip. I think he's leaning toward the bus, since it's cheaper... plus he'd get a free ticket out of the deal. It's in his name though, so I won't be seeing $40 anytime soon. ;_;

All the same, I'm thrilled-- and freaked out too, because that means I have a bunch of cleaning to do faster. I don't want him to see the disaster area that is my room... I have to find a way to rearrange all the clutter and make it look like a normal house, instead of Hurricane Mer went through it, leaving her trail of useless toys behind. I am sticking to my resolution of being totally moved out of here by the end of the year, come hell or high water.

Back to the LJ party-- after the movie I met up with Jimbo, Erwin, and 'Niichan, and we all tromped (after much excessive DDRing, crowd-forming, and split-decisions) to Denny's. Oni was nice enough to pay for a delish pancake with fruit that I ate 95% of-- I gave the hashbrowns and sausages to Jimbo, while I took the (supposedly-powdered) eggs and drowned them in my syrup shots. ^_^ It filled me up, considering I'd only had a tiny and expensive bagel from Mel's, an orange juice from the liquor store, and the tail-end of a delish burrito from 'Niichan. Note: not all of the restaurants in the Metreon are expensive or yucky. The Mexican place, in fact, is quite good, even if they are stingy about refills.

Oh, and turns out Erwin likes Hoobastank. (So does Cunningham. AUGH! Once Scott gets here, I won't think of that dork anymore!) So now I'm addicted to the song "The Reason," and want to make some more S/A icons based off it. Look for some new ones coming soon. *grin*

Anyway, back to WDKY15-- I desperately need help with a scene with Mokuba and Seto finally having That Talk. Hey, so Kysra, Atlantis, Mamono-- where are you guys? I need you! I'll be catching up on journals in the meanwhile, but I won't touch the DMRPG with a twenty-foot pole topped with a Blue Eyes Shining Dragon (which I finally have! Double-yatta and super thanks to [livejournal.com profile] zigx!). Though a storm may be a'brewing in the creative minds of myself, Mamono, Neko, and White Rain... bwahaha! Or should I say, woof woof woof?
